The recent snowstorms in our Nation’s Capital left more than an indelible white mark on our city streets; they also saved taxpayers billions of dollars.  By closing down the Federal City, the storms prevented our congressmen, bureaucrats, and regulators from writing more laws and fiats that will further impede the freedom of American citizens.  More importantly, it kept the bandits from constantly dipping into our pockets for a few days!

These laws, rules, and regulations require taxpayers, businesses and ordinary Americans to spend billions of dollars yearly on lawyers, accountants, and consultants in an attempt to understand and comply with U.S. Code.  This also represents an attempt by politicians to tell people how to live and use other people’s money to fund their out of control pork barrel projects.  Consequently, anything that prevents Congress and the bureaucracy from excessive regulation is without a doubt in the best interest of We the people.  So let it snow. Our federal budget needs this weather.
