Conway, South Carolina, December 20, 2016– Armstrong Williams, owner of WWMB CW21, WEYI NBC, WSES33, WGWW40, WGWG4 and Founder of Howard Stirk Holdings I & II, along with Civil Rights Attorney Benjamin Crump will host a Right Side Forum at WPDE/WWMB CW21 in Conway, South Carolina. Topic of discussion: “Lumberton Families Celebrating Life and Christmas after Hurricane Matthew?”

A Category 5 storm at its peak, Hurricane Matthew was downgraded to a Category 1 before it slammed into North Carolina. Residents of hard-hit towns such as Lumberton, about 70 miles northwest of Wilmington. The deadly storm brought record floods to parts of the state and even after areas of North Carolina began to dry out and Matthew spun into the Atlantic Ocean, Lumberton remained under water for days.

Homes in Lumberton had 4-feet of water rush through them and many families were left to live in their vehicles for days after the storm. Some families have been in motels since mid-October and will be there through Christmas and New Year’s Day.
