Armstrong Williams, the sole owner of NBC affiliate NBC25, held a town hall on the Flint water crisis on February 29, 2016.
The Flint water crisis has affected between 6,000 and 12,000 children that have been exposed to drinking water with high levels of lead. The crisis could expose children to a range of serious health problems and caused the governor of Michigan to declare a state of emergency. Eight lawsuits have been filed against government officials on the issue and several investigations have been opened, including a congressional hearing in January.
