2016 has been full of ups and downs. We and our allies have been struck by terrorism, we are facing the harsh reality of choosing two unpopular candidates for the presidency and many are still struggling due to our sluggish economy. During harsh times such as this, it is easy to become uncertain and saddened by a reality unknown. However, one thing that remains consistent for all of us is family.
During times such as this, I think we should all spend more time with those who we love most. Terrorism has taken the lives of many, leaving their loved ones with many unanswered questions. And for those of us not directly impacted, it should give us pause to reflect upon how precious life truly is.
Even has we hassle with the upcoming presidential election which causes great uncertainty about the future of our country, we should contemplate these things with our loved ones by voting for the person whose going to truly make things better for all of us. It seems like an easy task, but for many candor would oblige me to believe it won't be as easy as it may sound.
Life is too short to spend so much of it worrying about the things we cannot control. However, we can do something about the things we can control such as spending more time with those we love. So despite the turmoil we see at home and abroad, we are all still so blessed to have our loved ones near, so take the time to enjoy life with them more because none of us are guaranteed to live to see tomorrow.
