The Clemson Tigers lead the way, and I'm not just talking about the National Championship

A hearty congratulations to college football dominators — the Clemson Tigers — for their flawless run this year and culminating in beating the Alabama Crimson Tide! They showed true determination and grit.

It was refreshing to see President Trump’s good-humored side shine bright Monday as he paid for “massive amounts of Fast Food” for Clemson’s players and coaches to enjoy during their White House visit — something that we’ve never seen done before. As you can see in the images below, the White House dining area was practically filled with about 1,000 burgers from both McDonald’s and Wendy’s.

Trump tweeted: “Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!”

I’d also like to congratulate the Tigers for setting an example on how a championship team and its players should conduct themselves when invited to the White House by the President.

Enthusiastic, grateful, humble, and respectful of the office.

There was no push back from coaches or players, and the snowstorm was never an excuse for not coming. They were honored, and they honored the Office and the Institution of leadership with their attendance.
