On this edition of The Armstrong Williams Show, Mark Sanford joins the panel as he has announced his 2020 presidential campaign, challenging President Trump. After Mark Sanford answers questions regarding his experiences and plans, the conversation moves to the recent United Nations General Assembly meeting.
Mark Sanford has twice represented the First District of South Carolina in the U.S. Congress, served as the 115th Governor of South Carolina, worked in real estate, operated his family farm and above all has had the blessing and honor of raising four great sons. Now he sets his sights on challenging President Trump in the coming 2020 election.
Mark is given the opportunity to answer questions from Armstrong and the other panelists. Questions focus on topics and issues such as his strategy to reduce the national debt, what his foreign policy plans are, how revived impeachment talks impact his campaign, and what his plans are to win Trump’s base.
Renee Garfinkle gives her commentary on President Trump’s address at the UN as well as the recent developments with Iran and their military-naval exercises.
The United Nations General Assembly was overlooked by the media due to the recent impeachment talks. The impact of China and Russia deciding not to attend is discussed. Bruce Fein gives a quick history of the United Nations and defends Trump in regards to patriotism. The gun debate in America was brought up during the assembly meeting and we head to Las Vegas to speak with Genghis Cohen, owner of a shooting range, on the true nature of gun deaths in America.
