Las Vegas

The Armstrong Williams Show 1|6|18 [Live Broadcast From Las Vegas]

What better place to escape the winter cold on the northeast than sunny Las Vegas. Today we broadcast our live show from our Vegas Station, KHSV where we discussed everything from marijuana, politics, technology, entrepreneurship, and sports.

We started off today's show with Wayne Root, former  Libertarian Party presidential nominee, and nationally syndicated talk radio show host. We discussed everything from President Trump, his tweets and Attorney General Jeff Sessions war on marijuana. Wayne was joined by Las Vegas Commissioner Lawrence Weekly who discussed the impacts of Jeff Sessions new mandate on Las Vegas a city that has legalized medical marijuana.

Of course, politics is on everyone's mind, but it wouldn't have been a show without discussing CES, where innovation in consumer technology is presented to the world. CES Senior Vice President Jeff Joseph joined us to discuss the meaning of CES and the expected breakthroughs in technologies where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. CES has become a big attraction at the beginning of each new year in Vegas, bringing hundreds of thousands of people to the city who are interested in seeing the next big thing.

The show didn't stop there. Rick Harrison, best known as the co-owner of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, as featured on the History series Pawn Stars stopped by to talk about history, entrepreneurship, and his famed pawn shop. Pawn Stars is not only one of the History Channel's most popular shows, but is now seen around the world in over 25 countries. Ever so calm, cool, and collected with his thoughts, we saw firsthand why so many people are drawn to Rick and Pawn Stars. It's an exciting show for the entire family.

We ended the show with renowned sports broadcaster, Al Bernstein. Al gave us a recap of sports in 2017 and a preview of the NFL weekend playoffs, which I'm sure many of you will be watching.

Thanks to our viewers who continue to support our show and brand and special thanks to our Vegas station manager, Anthony Carr for a seamless production.
