The celebrations surrounding Donald Trump’s second inauguration as president were already kicking into high gear before the Jan. 20 event. Armstrong Williams, co-owner of The Baltimore Sun, welcomed some 130 guests to his Presidential Inauguration Reception on Jan. 18 at The Monocle Restaurant on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.


“There’s been too much acrimony across party lines. This is a time that we should be unifying,” Williams said, as he scanned the room full of people happily enjoying food, drink, and each other’s company.


“We need to be that reminded that we really like each other — that we talk to each other — and honoring how far we’ve come.”
